Chlorophyll & Silver

An ongoing photographic exploration of Tennessee’s native trees, created using 19th-century alternative photographic processes. Working slowly and by hand, the project considers trees as witnesses, ancient, generous, and increasingly vulnerable, while reflecting on time, loss, and humanity’s complicated relationship with the natural world.
